At Atelier Sandemar sustainability is at the core of our work. We take a circular approach by using natural, long-lasting materials that are renewable, biodegradable, or recyclable, and by practicing traditional craftsmanship—prioritizing quality, repairability, and longevity over mass production and disposability. Beyond our materials and methods, we also share our knowledge with the next generation of craftspeople and stay closely connected to our community, ensuring that craftsmanship and sustainability continue to evolve together.
By working with the natural properties of wood and choosing durable surface treatments, we create furniture designed to last - both aesthetically and functionally. All production takes place on a small scale in our workshop, with a focus on minimizing waste and using resources efficiently. We also believe that furniture should be built to be repaired and maintained, ensuring it can be passed down and appreciated for generations. We work closely with other labels as a supplier, as well as designing bespoke pieces for private clients. Whether for collections or unique commissions, our work always carries a quiet confidence, rooted in craftsmanship and refined by thoughtful design.
